A great highway had been built that connected one person to others over a sea of air. It was called the internet and the cloud was where you stored everything. It worked perfectly and you were connected to each other instantly at the click of a button.
That is until you take a cruise to Alaska! I just came back from two weeks on a cruise which was absolutely fantastic.

We sent a Day in Seattle, a day travel up to the boat in Vancouver, 14 days on a cruise, 3 Days in Vancouver, and 2 days coming home. This trip was one of our favorites.
There was only one hiccup. I had bought an internet package and planned to make a bunch of posts while on the trip.
It didn’t happen. Could I start my computer? Yes. Could I access my files in the cloud? No.
They were accessible as the top of the 7,000 foot peaks we passed. The cloud would not open and my files could not be accessed.
Emails would come in when we were in the ports, and I could see who they were from, and the title of the email. They also would not open.
I would like to say it was only me but the number of other people on the trip were also experiencing these issues. The system it turns out could not handle the demands of so many internet users.
So, it was stressful not being able to publish but once I accepted that, it was relaxing not having to answer emails, make posts or stress out over the calendar.
The most stressful thing was deciding what do we wanted to do each day, what was on the menu (it was all great), and just enjoying the beauty of all that we saw.
I highly recommend this cruise, but do not plan on doing work or using emails or the cloud. You will be sorely frustrated. Its good to be back and re-energized. Talk to you again on Friday.
