I attended breakfast meeting the other day and the gentleman who was talking was Drew Cerza. Drew calls him self the Wing King and is credited with creating the Buffalo Wing Festival. Talk about a person who has purpose.
He talked about the ups and downs of his life working in marketing. How he became involved with creating the Buffalo Chicken wing Festival and the many other areas he has been involved in.

He talked about some of the trials he has had with marketing and that there were times when he wanted to jump off a bridge. His response was don’t, good times are yet to come.
He said if you want to find the date he is planning on retiring you will have to look at the second number on his tombstone. His philosophy is that if you want to stay relevant, you have to always be willing to reinvent yourself.
He says you have to ask yourself, where am I at and where do I want to be?
He talked about the many times he made mistakes, failed so to speak, and his point was there is nothing wrong with failing, its how you pick yourself up.
He says you should bleed confidence & humbleness at the same time, own the room when you walk into it, put yourself out there, don’t be afraid to be involved, take charge. If you got to bet, don’t bet the whole farm on whatever you’re doing.
His philosophy was exercise, watch your diet, have good hygiene. Balance work, family and community, though he felt his life was rarely balanced. It was something that he strived for.
Be confident, humble and fun. Give back – if you ask for something then give something of equal value back.
He was inspirational speaker talking about how he is living his legacy now with giving back to the community. He asks, "Why should I wait till I die to create a legacy?"
He has purpose, and a sense of direction. Do you? If not ask me about my course. I am here to help you live life with gusto and to help you to keep pushing forward with your plans on enjoying life.
What is your vision for your future. Are you transitioning from the earning phase of your life to the returning, giving back to those around you?
Last, remember life is for living and enjoying, you can’t save it up for some other time because you don’t know what the future will bring. If you think about these changes, you will find that you will really enjoy retirement.
I am here to help you live life with gusto and to help you to keep pushing forward with your plans on enjoying life. Want more ideas, sign up for our classes, join in the discussion and become part of our community about life after working at www.patterson2y2r.com
