Advent Week 2 Preparation

What does Advent mean? It is the period of waiting for a savior to arrive. What does that have to do with retirement? Especially if you are not Christian?

If you are retired there is no savor that is going to come and change what is happening in your retirement. There is no Santa Claus that is going to arrive will millions of dollars on December 25th to change the direction of your retirement. Come to think of it – it doesn’t mean that will happen if you are a Christian.

 If you are unhappy with how you see your retirement going, then only you can change it. Do you need a lot of money? Not really if you start planning your next year now.

You must plan your life like you are going to live to 100, but be flexible enough to with the daily issues. I have a knee that has gone rogue and I am struggling to walk. Its either a bone chip, arthritis or abraded cartilage pad.

Should I stop planning and the answer is no. I will not let my bum knee define my retirement. I have too much to do and things to see.

One of these is getting my course site up and running. I will be doing testing on my site to make sure all the parts are working this week and I will let you know if any of you want to join me then in development and design.
