Course Development Post 2

I am working on a song about retirement but I am struggling with the message it conveys. The real question is can you have a fulfilling retirement when you are in bankruptcy?

Here is the song – let me know what you think.

ITs Title is Retirement Woes

(Verse one) In the key of G, I'll sing a song, about the woes of retiring, it won't be long . No more nine to five, but no more cash to earn, in this golden age, we live and learn)

(Chorus) Oh, the golden years, they don't shine so bright, when you're counting every penny, day and night. Doctor's bills, aches, and pains, they start to stack, retirements are rocky road, there's no turning back.

(Verse 2) The savings ran dry, the pensions not enough, every medical bill feels like a bluff. Cost of health care, it's a mountain to climb, in these golden years, it's a tough, tough time.

(Chorus) Oh, the golden years, they don't shine so bright, when you're counting every penny, day and night. Doctor's bills, aches, and pains, they start to stack, retirements are rocky road, there's no turning back.

(Verse 3) Aches and pains, they’re a constant friend, every days a struggle, there's no magic mend. Doctors visits are frequent, and the bills accrue, in this chapter of life, it's a different view.

(Chorus) Oh, the golden years, they don't shine so bright, when you're counting every penny, day and night. Doctor's bills, aches, and pains, they start to stack, retirements are rocky road, there's no turning back.

(Bridge) We worked so hard, all our lives, but now it feels like a financial dive. We dreamt of peace and restful days, but it's a challenge in so many ways.

(Verse 4) Running out of money, it's a heavyweight, every decision feels like A twist of fate. But we'll face the storm, will stand up tall, for we've got our love, and that's worth it all.

(Chorus) Oh, the golden years, they don't shine so bright, when you're counting every penny, day and night. Doctor's bills, aches, and pains, they start to stack, retirements are rocky road, there's no turning back.

(Outro) In the key of G, we'll carry on, through the woes of retiring, they may dawn. With love and hope we find our way, in these golden years come what may.
