Enjoying the rain

As you can tell I have been struggling to find that topic that really is of interest to people planning on retiring. I could talk about the fact that unless you have set aside a ton of money in your 401K and altered your lifestyle to be that of a minimalist you will outlive your money.
Even with supplementing it with Social Security. Then you have the other side of the coin in which you were frugal, sacrificed all your life, ate the right things and then before you get the chance to enjoy the fruits of your labors you come down with cancer or fall down a flight of stairs and die before you retire.

I have concluded that all you can do is to live every day to its fullest. I appreciate the sun every morning, and even rainfall. Sit on the porch and enjoy the flash of lightning. God said to the man who built the big barn, you fool you lay up treasures you will never use because I am calling you today.
Does this mean you should be a spend thrift? No, but don't for sake the joys of this day for the perceived joys of tomorrow which might never come. Help and love your family for they are the ones who will always be with you.
Show kindness, compassion and be loving to those around you helping all who ask for your help. Take in the beauty of everything around you are enjoying each day and keep your eye on the future.
So many people don't take time to smell the roses. How am I doing that I meditate on the Lord each morning. I feed and watch the birds while I am meditating, I take time to savor my breakfast.
Whether it is a bowl of cereal with fruit, or an egg cooked a different way each day I have one. I teach three days a week and younger people, they keep me young. I do things with friends, family and acquittances every day.
I improve myself by reading, practing piano and cooking. Life is good and I want to convey that to all I meet.If you have struggled with this question and others then go to Patterson2Y2R,com/blog should be a place you should visit to share your stories and challenges.
