We will celebrate the birth of Jesus tonight. A person who changed the world. He gave us the gift of eternal life. I would also hope that you would give yourself some gifts this year. What gifts are these?
Setting boundaries by saying no more often to honor your time, energy, and mental health and allowing space for what truly matters to you.
Another one would be taking time to meditate on a daily basis to help manage stress, anxiety and connect with your inner peace.
Giving yourself a good nights sleep, and prioritizing rest and establishing a good routine. Taking time to recharge your self each night.
Taking time to engage in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. It could reading, painting , gardening, something that nurtures your creativity.
Practicing Gratitude each day to reflect on what you are grateful for shifting the focus from you lack to what you have.
Spending time outdoors, taking walks, hiking, or just sitting outside and enjoying the scenery.
Taking a break from technology. Unplug and work at being more present and strive to have meaningful interactions with those around you.
Saying yes to fun. Put your cares aside for the day, they will still be there tomorrow. Allow yourself to enjoy lighthearted activities, social event and spontaneous adventures.
I will have more on Thursday about gifts you can give yourself this Christmas season.
If you have struggled with this question and others then go to Patterson2Y2R,com/blog should be a place you should visit to share your stories and challenges.
