My 25 Week Knee Progress

  • Oct 17, 2024
  • 2 min read

The last couple of weeks have been good. My knee is starting to feel normal. Don’t get me wrong, it is still tight when I get up in the morning, and when I walk downstairs.

I also feel it when I have been sitting for a while. Otherwise my knee is doing pretty good. Getting in and out of the car is a slow experience, especially when I can’t get my door fully open because of a car next to me is to close.

It forces me to do what I have been trying very hard not to do and that is to move the seat of the car backward. I am still going to PT but only once a week and then I go to the gym 3 times a week.

I am taking the stairs every time I can. I am practicing walking up and down steps normally and not one at a time. That takes more thought, but I am getting better at it.

Carrying loads into the house I still do one step at a time. I am told not to be discouraged that this is a work in Progress. I am also able to stand for the entire classes I teach some are 90 minutes and some are 110 minutes depending upon the school.

I don’t intend to blog any more on the knee since it is now past history. I will see you all next week. If you have struggled with this question and others then go to Patterson2Y2R,com/blog  should be a place you should visit to share your stories and challenges.

I have an ear that would love to hear your stories. Let’s taste the real meaning of life. I am still working on my course with the goal of launching a starter course by June 30th, and I will keep you abreast as to how the process goes.

If you want to participate in this process and join my first class please send me an email to bobchuckpatterson@yahoo.com
