What is a Fermata in Life?

On February 2nd. Post I mentioned that I would talk about Crescendo Mentality, how Covey and Holler define success and how to improve your life.

First, see true success for what it is without comparison to others, work diligently to succeed in your most important roles.

Second, identify what needs improvement in your life and courageously and proactively bring about positive change, use your initiative and work to make it happen.

What is this telling me, you have the power to choose your own response to the circumstances in your life. You don't blame others or your environment if you don't succeed, you look for how you can improve your inner dialogue to make changes.

Mahatma Gandhi talk we should continually seize opportunities to grow and improve. He said, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were going to live forever.”

If you feel you're stuck in a midlife crisis or you're experiencing “fermata” which is a music term for a pause of unspecified land, don't panic. Use your gift of self-awareness to stand apart and recognize you can consciously choose the course that you'll be happy in the future.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”

Have I ever experienced a “fermata” in my life, the answer is yes. Have I chosen to make changes in my life because of that and the answer is yes.

Join in the conversation of making our lives better and more fulfilled with purpose, direction striving for personal growth. I am still working on my course with a goal of launching a starter course by June 30th,

I will keep you abreast as to how the process goes. If you want to participate in this process and join my first class please send me an email to www.bobchuckpatterson@yahoo.com
