Friday, August 22 I was up at 7:00 AM bath routine than TV, at 7:45am Mary Kay made me breakfast. Then I took a nap from 8:30 to 9:00 before doing my prayer and meditation. I called the VNA to see when the scheduled PT person would come.
They said the PT person should be calling me today or early on the next day. I went through emails for both Bryant and Stratton and ECC and checked to see if my classes have been populated.

They had not so I could not do much with them. It's 10:15am another nap for 45 minutes. I heard from the VNA and was told to expect them in an hour and a half.
The PT person showed up at 12:15pm and put me through a bunch of stretches till 1:45pm. It was time for a late lunch. Mary Kay gave me two oxycontin as a precaution because of a PT and I found I couldn't concentrate.
I couldn't focus on the words, I couldn't read, I couldn't pay attention to the TV and it was just a lost afternoon. Friday night into Saturday morning I did not sleep well and I was having some really intense dreams that were very strange.
Now the first time I had my other knee operated on the rehab facility administered the pills and gave me the pain pills on a regular basis which is probably why I could not concentrate on what I was doing if it involved reading or writing.
I did get evaluated but I would got no PT till Monday – 5 days after the operation. I feel this made my recovery so much longer the first time. The other difference was I didn’t have the commode seat over the toilet at home, and I realized I didn’t need it.
I decided I would only take the 300 Aspirin and the other lower dose pain killer called Tramadol, so I would not lose a day again.
