Recovery Progress and Setbacks: September 18–21, 2025
Thursday, September 18, 2025 - I continue to rely on my cane for long distances, though I’m able to navigate around the house without it. Knee Surgery Day 10 through 12
Wednesday, September 3, 2025 – I started back up on the Tramadol and have been sleeping thru the night till 4am. Then I have to get up to pee then back to sleep till 6:30am. Yesterday, at PT my trainer George asked me if I planned to take off from teaching while I am recovering from the knee operation. Knee Replacement Day 10 thru 14
Saturday, August 30, 2025 – Yesterday I was released by the VNA PT person and after he left I went with Mary Kay to Tops to get something from flash foods. It was the first car trip in over a week. It felt great getting out. I spent all day on John Killian’s family cookbook and finished it except for the forward. I think it can out great. Finally, to bed at 10:30pm. Knee Replacement Day 7 through 9
This is the continuing saga of my knee surgery experience on my 2 nd knee. Wednesday, 8/27/25 – I started using a cane today and feel comfortable with it. I have been working on projects and have my Classes set up for the first and second weeks of September. Friday, August 22 I was up at 7:00 AM bath routine than TV, at 7:45am Mary Kay made me breakfast. Then I took a nap from 8:30 to 9:00 before doing my prayer and meditation.
