Having you leg cut in half

Welcome and hello again. You may have been wondering what happened to me this past month. I decided to have my knee replaced in mid-August. I had prefilled out my blog posts through mid-September but then struggled to get my life back on track.
I was starting to teach the first week of September, working to recover from my knee operation, and also figure out how I was going to get the yard and house ready for the fall.

To complicate things the college introduced a new curriculum for one of my classes that requires a major revision of what and when I was teaching material in one class and they wanted me to change from a lecture style to an interactive style.
Both required a lot of time and effort. Plus, I had four classes rather than only two or three. My blog over the next several posts will be on my knee operation. If you remember I blogged about my first operation a year and a half ago.
For that operation I went to a rehab facility for two weeks to help with recovery. This time I chose to go home and use home therapy rather than going to a rehab place.
After experiencing both I would recommend going home rather than a rehab facility because I have had a faster recovery and the food was so much better. Sit back and read my blog on Thursday about what it’s like to effectively have your leg cut in half and put back together than struggle to recover.
